2021-2022 Season Wrap-up

Congratulations to our Risers on our 2026 and 2027 teams. In our first year of club competition, we won a lot of games and beat a lot of teams from more established programs.

The highlight of our 2026 team’s summer was going 4-1 at Hogan’s Hershey. It was Coach Alex’s last tournament with the team, and the boys were inspired to play hard for their friend and mentor. It’s yet to be seen exactly how many of these guys get recruited by Coach Alex to play for Coach Danowski at Duke.

The 2027 team showed steady improvement. Although their first win came in the last game of their second fall tournament, they continued their winning ways in their first game in the summer. Faceoffs, goalie play, clearing, riding, and defense were strengths for the team all summer, and the offense caught up in the last few games at Hogan’s Hershey. Led by some great dodging from our attackmen and excellent midfield shooting, the 2027s finished Hogan’s Hershey with a 3-2 record and smiles on their faces.

Rise Lacrosse Club is proud of its inaugural teams, especially that 95 percent of them returned for 2022-23. These guys aren’t done Rising!
