Inside Lacrosse Highlights THREE RLC Players from Victory “Summer Slam” 2026!

Rhys Myers, Trey Landis, & Carson Maharg – 3 long-time Rise LC players currently playing with the 2027 squad – were all recognized for their exceptional performances at West Chester University over the weekend of June 13-14, 2026.

From the article:

  • Rhys Myers, A, Manheim Township (Pa.), Rise LC
    Evaluation Score: 81
Myers understood the game well. He was always in the right spot at the right time. While limited in size, he still led the offense for Rise, always capitalizing when he had the ball in his stick. He was a remarkable finisher in tight. He always found a way, on low angles, to sneak the ball right past the goalie. His lacrosse IQ propelled his game.
  • Trey Landis, FO, Manheim Township (Pa.), Rise LC
    Evaluation Score: 79
Landis played up a division with the 2027s. Despite this, he still stood out as one of the better FOGOs in the event. He was able to win it out the front several times, pick up a first-time groundball and get it to the attack. Even though he was smaller and younger, he was the first person in a loose-ball scrum, fighting to get the ball, and would oftentimes come out with the ball too. He had a great swim move, making defenders miss, allowing him to get his hands free to make a pass to a friendly face.
  • Carson Maharg, M, Cocalico (Pa.), Rise LC
    Evaluation Score: 80
Maharg was one of the better 2028 midfielders at the event, and one of the best parts of his game was his vision. He was always dodging with his head up, which is why he had a handful of assists. He had some great cuts, which led to opportunities where he finished inside. He could also sweep to his right hand and get a shot off on the run if he got his hands free.
